RR Team Squad IPL 2021 and Match Fixtures

A new era at Rajasthan Royals is about to kick off in IPL 2021 as after releasing Steve Smith from the team, Sanju Samson is RR’s new captain.  Sanju had few blitzing innings to his name in the last IPL as well, but consecutive single-digit scores made his case worst. Now RR team squad for IPL 2021 is all set and there are few changes down the order.

The absence of experienced Robin Uthhapa might hurt them for a while, but the slot would be filled up with Miller and Vohra being the strong contenders for this one. The biggest blow to RR’s IPL 14th edition campaign is Jofra Archer out of the first half of the vent following the injury.  Archer had a spectacular IPL season last year, and RR fans were already expecting more of it from this season as well Rajasthan Royals IPL Squad.

RR Batting IPL 2021

Minus Steve Smith means a different RR is on the cards this IPL season. David Miller, who has previously played some match-changing knocks at Kings XI Punjab is likely to have more batting opportunities. At the same time, one can see Ben Stokes playing as an opener as that’s what he did successfully in the few games at IPL 2020 Punjab Kings IPL 2021 Full Squad.

With Stokes up the order, players like Rahul Tewatia, Rayan Parag, David Miller, and Chris Morris will be tasked to finish things off in the style. Shivam Dube in the squad also strengthens the all-rounders’ department for RR. The X-factors for RR batting line-up would be the duo of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson as both playing up the order can torment any bowling lineup on their day.

Rajasthan Royals Bowling IPL 2021

Jofra Archer is the key for RR, and his absence in IPL 2021 means some serious trouble to this IPL side. Though RR has some quality T20 bowlers in the squad, still Archer’s form and knowledge of the game was handy both in death and starting overs. Top T20 pacers like Chris Morris and Andrew Tye are there in the RR team, which means death-bowling won’t be this trouble.

Another addition to the bowling side for RR is Mustafizur Rahman, who was missing IPL seasons to injury. But now he is back again and all in rhythm to prove his worth yet again. Amid all this one can’t forget Karthik Tyagi in team RR, who made a solid statement last year with his IPL debut.
